Christmas Haul

My parents think Im smarter with computers than I actually am, so they thought Id like this T-shirt of Linux terminal commands, even though I dont understand half of them.

Amazon Gift Card

$30 to spend on practically anything.

As I have ranted before, this is one of the best anime's Ive ever seen and I just can't seem to get enough of it, so I got the DVD (mainly for the extra).

Go ahead and hate me but, I have never played the original Halo. But this special anniversary package gives me a unique to play it with modern graphics. I hear many argue its the best of the three, and I can't wait to find out!

A conspiracy liden futuristic cyborg world? Sounds like my kind of entertainment. Based on the reviews I thought Id really like this game, although I have never played the Deus Ex series before. I hope Im not disappointed

GoldenEye 007: Reloaded

All my friends praised the N64 version of this game and I thought it looked fun, so I got it for myself. He sure does a lot of front line shooting for a spy.

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword

I have been waiting for this game ever since I beat Twilight Princess. Zelda is my favorite game series, and have been nothing short of impressed since Ocarina of Time. Despite the fact that Gamespot shat all over it because they wanted to their review to "stand out" it appears to have everything a Zelda game should have and more. I liked Twilight Princess's realistic visual style more though. Skyward Sword's looks more childish than Wind Waker.

Ice Scraper/Brush

Not the most exciting gift, but useful for a new driver during the winter. Also great for beating up ice hobos.

Immature Christmas Songs

In the spirit of the season Id thought Id share some of my favorite Christmas carols. Just don't sing them at peoples doorsteps.

Dennis Leary - A Merry Fucken Christmas

South Park - Mr Hankey the Christmas Poo

Jeff Dunham - Achmed the Dead Terrorist's Christmas Song

Conan - Minty the Candy Cane

Drew Toothpaste - Fuck you if you don't like Christmas

Polar Bear Plunge 2011

Sorry if this is a little late. Finals to study for.

Thanks mostly to my mom's coworkers, I managed to raise $250 for the special olympics through the polar bear plunge. I have always wanted to try the polar plunge, as I have always loved the cold. So on November 19th, I traveled to ceder beach in Mt Sinai to take the dip.

I have no idea.

Despite the winter temperatures, this thing was melting as fast
as the guy could carve it (which was quite fast btw).

Even for someone with a high tolerance for cold, It was not as bad I thought it would be. It's not the same thing as jumping into your pool right after you open it. I got used to it instantly, I probably could have stayed in for a few minutes. While I didn't feel stressed, I could feel myself hyperventilating and my heart rate rising. After like 30 seconds I walked ashore. When I got out of the water, I didn't feel cold. Probably because the water was colder than the air.

And that was my Polar Bear Plunge experience. Would I do it again? Certainly!

Rain

Its been raining a lot lately. Cool and wet for the past few days. Most people hate the rain. They say it puts them a dull mood and brings down their spirits. But I for one love the rain. The clouded grey skys give me a sense of comfort. Hearing the raindrops hit the ground or my window in rapid succession makes me feel peaceful and calm. To me the rain is soothing and aesthetically pleasing. A cloudy, rainy day always puts me in a good mood. I even love to go outside in the rain. There is nothing more tranquil than taking a walk in the park on a rainy, springtime Sunday morning.

I don't like the sunshine. I gives me stress for some reason. Id rather live in a place where it rained everyday than in a sunny place like California. I guess its just one of the ways I'm different.
